I like Christmas in Europe, it’s not overdone like it is in Australia or the USA. Decorations and store promotions only started last week so it hasn’t been in our faces for months like it is at home. What’s more, there’s not too much of it either. The lights are tastefully done and there’s not a f#cking christmas tree every 10 meters. And, there’s gingerbread houses!
Perhaps it’s because at home, we’re trying to create something that doesn’t exist for us, but here they live it so there’s no need to go over the top. That still doesn’t explain the yank approach.
