Fire, a fucking fire!

It’s Sunday night here. TW and I were sitting in the lounge reading when I heard shouting and what sounded like gunshots. Peering through the curtains I was not prepared for the sight that greeted me. The office building four buildings away from ours was on fire. Well and truly.
Later: 20 or so minutes have passed and the fire has jumped to the next building, three away from us. TW is flapping like a duck and we’ve got all of the important things ready if we need to bug out. I’ve told her not to panic, but she informs me that it’s what she does well, so I guess I should get used to it!
Later still: The Pompiers have been here for a while now and we can see jets of water shooting into the sky and hear explosions as christ-knows-what explodes.
I’ve noticed people leaving in droves from one of the buildings not far away. Time to keep an eye on things I think.
